THE LOLI DUSTER // A FREE CROCHET PATTERN
Hello my beautiful stitches! Happy February! I wanted to drop some love on you all with a gorgeous free pattern. This pattern I have named the Loli Duster after the muse that inspired this design; an anime archetype that is described as being a cutie-pie type of girl, that looks much younger than her age, has child-like hobbies (my favorite trait), loves sugary foods, and has nicknames for everyone. I just thought this would be perfect for the theme of the month and give homage to how fun and lighthearted love can make you feel.
To keep to the Loli Archetype’s traits I used a color palette with jewel tones reminiscent of yummy candy and a silhouette with puff sleeves to elevate the duster while keeping it’s childlike charm. Also, this free crochet duster pattern is created to be seamless [YAY! That means less time spent weaving in ends] and thus worked in the raglan style from the top down. The Loli Crochet Duster is easily customizable and can be made to be a shorter length; for a more cardigan style look or, if you wish, to be made to hit the floor.
